Your download has started.
Mac will ask you to approve a few permissions before the session can start. This is normal — follow the steps below and your technician will be ready to connect.
Step by step

Open the downloaded DMG file
Find it in your browser’s download notification (top right corner) and click it to open.

Click “Open” when Mac asks
You’ll see a prompt saying “QuickConnect is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?” — click Open.

Enter your Mac password
A prompt will appear saying “QuickConnect needs to run commands with administrator privileges.” Enter your Mac login password and click OK.

Allow Screen Recording if prompted
Mac may ask permission to record your screen. Click Allow — this is required for your technician to see your screen.
5
Share your 9-digit session code
Once the app is running, a 9-digit code will appear on screen. Share that with your technician and you’re connected.
If you see any other permission prompts, go ahead and allow them — your technician will walk you through anything unexpected.
